Our week in Rexburg

Me and Avy stayed in rexburg for the week but Chris had to go back to Boise to work :( He wanted me to send him pics of Avy so here are a few of those from my phone.

It was little Kash's Birthday party on Saturday. Avy had her first mary go round ride. She seemed really excited at first then she got a little scared when it started going :)

My dad flew us back to Boise Sunday morning. I can not even tell you how wonderful it is to fly... 1 hour of a beautiful flight vs. 5 hour drive with a crying baby....Flying wins!! I owe you big dad! Wish you could come pick us up every time!! seriously though, can you??!!

Chris first fathers day was on June 17th and his 32nd birthday was on June 20th. So we had a lot to celebrate! He is such an amazing man. I still cant believe he is MY husband. I Love him so much and am THE LUCKIEST girl ever to have him.

3 parties in one day...

Party #1- Rexburg air show!! Beautiful weather, way too many people,  and awesome airplanes. The coolest plane by far was my dads :)

Party #2- Dianas Baby Shower!!! Little Madilyn is going to be one well dressed little girl. Im so excited to see that baby!!

 Party #3- June birthday party. Chris, Mike, James, and Denise's birthday are all in June so we had one big party. Warren and Bonnie really know how to have a party.... BBQ, Cake & ice cream, Volley ball games, Fire pit with smores, and Chinese lanterns! Such a beautiful and fun night.

Yes, that was all in one day. Always a party when we go home to Rexburg!

7 months

This little babe is growing up so fast and is so dang cute!! Here are a few things I want to remember about Avalee 7 months old...

- She is "rocking" on her hands and knees. crawling is coming soon. She wants to be moving all the time.
- She finally started solid food. boohoo- I have been putting this off as long as possible but it is time :( Her favorites so far are sweet potatoes, apple sauce (mixed with baby oatmeal), avocado, peaches, asparagus, bananas and carrots. This is her eating carrots- I could not shove them in fast enough! She grabbed the spoon and went straight for her head. Carrots were everywhere. She also likes eating paper but I'm trying not to include that in her diet.

- She loves mirrors. Every time we walk into a bathroom she pulls this face the entire time :) (ignore the dirty mirror- sick... I really do clean them)

- She loves going to the store and on walks.
- She sucks her bottom lip all the time. I think its a nervous thing.
-Still loves tub time. and splashes everywhere
- LOVEs to jump! I am going to have some pretty big biceps with all the bouncing we do.
-she has figured out how to pull off her bows and get's pretty ticked when she has one on.-let the mom/daughter hair battle begin
-Loves morning time
- she loves to grab faces. If you hold her, she will grab your nose
-sticks her tongue out when she smiles
- fake coughs a lot. She thinks she is funny :)
- Still gets up once in the night around 3 or 4 to eat. I don't know how to get her out of that habit... ??
-It takes her awhile to warm up to other people and smile...but she will let anyone hold her and doesn't cry. (as long as me or Chris is close by)
- Loves reading time- and then she likes to eat the books and rip the pages out...
-takes 3 (morning, noon, evening) 1 hour naps a day...on a good day
- She gets excited when elmo is on. (This is the only TV show she is allowed)
- Me and Chris are her favorites. She loves us :) and we love her!!!

We went to texas road house for dinner the other night and made it out with only 1 broken glass catastrophe. She is reaching and grabbing anything in reach- including full glasses of water! The old people next to us didn't even mind the glass chunks that went flying into their dinner because Avy was so cute. ha

Her hair is starting to get a little longer. This was my first attempt at a little pony. Cute :)

Recently...

Avalee is officially a big girl :(
(And Im that crazy mom that takes pictures while in the grocery store...)

 

The weather has been beautiful recently. We try to go for walks everyday. She obviously loves it :)

We were laying out in our yard one afternoon just reading books when this HUGE nasty spider crawled up my arm. I freaked out. Then squashed him to death. Probably wont go lay in our back yard again!

This handsome guy has been painting the outside of our house. Just the top triangle parts. Im so proud of him...it was hot and dangerous and time consuming. What a good guy!

This is just Avy being cute. And her cute mint colored toes... She is so trendy :)

Diana and Brayden came to visit for the night. Avalee loves them (as you can see!) I cant wait until they move here with their new baby girl!!
 (haha- Avys straight body- not sure what she was doing but she was in heaven!)
