May 10-25. Memorial Day

Fun day at the park with my best buddies. They ran up and down that hill about 20 times. Sure wore them out for bed time!!

Fun with "Mad Dog". These two are seriously best friends.

We went to Rexburg for Memorial day weekend. It was not like our typical rexburg trips. My parents were gone on a cruise so we didn't even see them. And Warren just had back surgery and was in a rehab/assisted living center while he heals from surgery so we only saw him a few times. But thank goodness, all the cousins were around and my kids had a blast playing with them for 4 days straight. Chris did a lot of shooting and a full day of fishing. And I did a lot of cleaning out Warrens kitchen, bathrooms and Bonnies old room. It honestly was pretty gross and not the funnest weekend ever, but I was SO glad Warren let me do it! He has had such a hard year with Bonnie being gone and his hurt back and knees.  I was happy to do it and I know, wherever she is, it made Bonnie so happy to see her house clean again :)
Chris made Jetts day when he got out the motorcycle! Jett was so excited! That adorable smile was on his face the entire time.

Bonnie always talked about the "flower pillow" that they use to put on her mothers grave for memorial weekend. Bonnie made us promise we would do it on her grave for memorial day and Im so glad we did. It turned out beautiful! The kids and I also made a flower sun for her. " We love you as big as the sun!"

I found about 15 selfie pictures of these two nerds. They are so funny!

May 3-10th. Dance recital

This week we are keeping busy with swimming lessons, dance class/dress rehearsal, and playing outside in this beautiful weather!

Avys big dance recital was on Saturday. Grandpa Rob and Grandma Janet surprised us and came that morning just to see the performance!! The kids were so excited! It was so fun to have them here even if it was just for a few hours.
Right before Avy went on stage she stared to cry and didn't want to perform. After a few bribes of a new dress, treats and threatening that gma and gpa would leave, she finally went on stage. And she was amazing! I was so proud of my little dancer. She could not have been cuter :)

May 10th was Mothers day. We went to church and then all took a nap together! Probably the best gift I could ask for. I love my babies more than anything. Im so lucky I get to be their mommy.

April 29- May 2. Womens conference

For Christmas all the girls gave my mom tickets to womens conference at BYU. It was really a present for all of us! The conference was amazing. We heard so many inspirational talks went to the funnest concert. Add in a little shopping and it was the perfect girls weekend!
"missinary mom" from meet the mormons. We were pretty excited to meet them :)

IKEA!! dangerous store

I would not have been able to go without the help of Denise and her kids. They came all the way to Boise and stayed at our house so they could babysit while Chris was at work. Im so grateful for them. My kids adore them and had such a blast together. They probably didn't even know I was gone for 3 days! We are so lucky to have them!

april 21- 28th

Avy had her first little dance performance at a nursing home. She was so excited and looked so cute. Well, Avy hadn't taken a nap that day and it was right at bed time. She wasn't feeling good all day and didn't eat dinner. So naturally, she got on stage and was bawling and didn't want to do the dance. She sat on my lap and cried the entire time. So we skipped the second dance and just left. You just don't mess with a tired, hungry 3 year old. Hopefully she will perform at the real show!

Avy and Jett helped me plant my flowers in our front yard. Then she picked most of the flowers and gave them to me as a present! It was so dang sweet, I couldn't even be mad!

Avy found my ultimate dress up!!
On Sunday, Chris had to make a quick trip to Rexburg to see a dental practice so the kids and I just stayed home. Well, I woke up Sunday morning sicker than a dog. I was on the toilet every 30 min and was so weak I could hardly move. It was the worst day of my life. And Chris wasn't there to help  :( So the kids literally had to take care of themselves. The night before we had the missionaries over for dinner and I didn't get it all cleaned up so Jett had a hay day playing in old potatoes and climbing up on the counter to eat the brownies. Good thing I didn't clean up because that is how they got fed that day. It was awful!.

Avy started her first day of swimming lessons. She was so excited and did so good. She was really shy with the teacher and wont even come close to putting her face in the water, but I was so proud of her for being brave and not crying!
