my babies...

"baby Jett is sooo cute! He's my best friend!" - Avy

for my memory sake, a little update on what these two darlings are up to...

Avalee- Avy, Avy bug, monkey, Av
-She is finally (mostly) potty trained! Well, she is at home and when Im there to help her. And we still use diapers at night.
- Anything that has anything to do with Disney princesses, she loves. She is also starting to get into playing with barbies and  watching barbie movies.
- Loves dress ups. we go through a few a day.
- Is really into doing things "all by myself". Especially dressing and putting on her shoes.
- She is a awesome little eater. Not picky at all. And still likes an occasional bottle of (warm!) milk. ugg
- Loves cooking with me. She always wants to be helping.
- total obsession with her blanket. The loves grows everyday. Its seriously her best friend.
- such a girly girl. Loves shoes, dresses and jewelry.
-She is so good at giving complements. Always telling me I look pretty or she loves my dress :)
- She is a button pusher. If we tell her no, she will do it again with a smile on her face.
-Loves nursery now. She always says, "I will go and be happy!"
-loves watching movies. Mostly Disney or anything princess. Everyday when she wakes up, she asks to watch a movie. Bad parenting! but she usually stops watching after the first 30 min.
- The most beautiful curly hair. But it gets tangled so easily and she hates when I brush it out. She always wants it in braids.
- Such a good helper (most the time) She is so good at entertaining Jett or getting me things when I ask.
- She hates time out and freaks out if I put her in it (time out is in her room on her bed without her blanket- torture. ha)
- loves the pool and is getting to be such a good swimmer. But she knows she cant get in without her floaties.
- Is so good at riding her little bike. She loves riding it to the pool

Jett- Jett pack, baby Jett, J-man, Little buddy, puppy
-Happiest baby ever. If you smile at him, he will smile right back
-so ticklish. And laughs out loud when you tickle him.
- fast little crawler and climbs up onto everything. He walks along furniture and walls but doesn't like to walk when you are holding his hands. But he can stand by himself forever, just no steps.
- Now has 2 adorable top teeth.
- He eats everything and anything he can get his hands on. He likes it all.
-He loves Avy. He follows her around all day. And she like to pretend he is her puppy.
-Jett has such strong little hands. His fingers could rip your lips off if you let him.And you can usually find a handful of mine or Avys hair in his hands that he just ripped out of our heads. Ouch
- He is a horrible sleeper. Usually up 2 or 3 times in the night. And he will scream and scream until he gets milk... uggg
- Changing his diaper is near impossible. I have to pin him down, take his diaper off and am usually chasing him down to put a new diaper on.
- He loves the tub and gets so excited when I turn the faucet on.
-Adorable little BIG chubby feet. In size 4 wide! and I will probably start buying him 5.
- In size 18 months and mostly 2T clothes :( he is growing too fast
- The poor kid is always getting a bonk or bruise somehow. But he is so tough. It doesn't even phase him when Avy kicks him or throws a toy at his face.
- Love his mommy and daddy. starting to get clingy and wont go to others very easily
- He has started to say mama and dada. Im not sure if he knows what he is saying, but he can say it :)
-loves peek a boo!
 - loves his new airplane bike toy. We push him around in it all day and he loves it.

aug 18-24

Monday we went to the Boise fair with Diana and Megan and their kids. It was about 110 degrees, but we all had fun seeing the animals and eating a pound o' fries and buttered corn!

The rest of the week has basically been spent in the pool. It closes in a few weeks so we are trying to get our fill.

Saturday, the 23, was the Meridian Temple groundbreaking and our bishop gave Chris and I tickets! It was such a great event and we felt so honored to be there and see where the new temple is going to be. Elder Bednar was there and dedicated the ground. He talked about gratitude and temple attendance. His testimony of Christ was so powerful. He is a true apostle of God. Im so grateful I was able to be there and have this amazing experience.

phone pics- Aug 3-17th

Back in Boise! We have just been soaking up the summer :) These are some pictures from my phone

Lots of going to the park. We have gone almost everyday. They both LOVE the swings!
Avy is seriously a good climber.

It was our 5 year wedding anniversary on Aug 8th. Five years, two kids, a bunch of fun memories and a few extra pounds later, we are still in love more than ever :) We went out to dinner at Mongos, a Mongolian grill. Avy thought the big grill was pretty cool. Then we came home and made huckleberry milkshakes. Delish!

Lots of this...

Lots and lots of dress up!

Lots of crawling around making messes :)

And lots of swimming! We all love our pool so much. And now, most of the kids in Meridian are in school so we usually have the pool to our self. awesome!

July 26th- Aug 3

So, we came to Rexburg to watch the Playmill, but also to see my amazing friends from high school and have a cheer reunion! It was so good to see them and act like we were 17 again. Surprisingly, we could still tumble and stunt! I (kind of, well, a lot...) wish we could get together and have cheer practice every week :)

I stayed the week in Rexburg :) Its so nice to spend a little more time with our family and the kids were in  heaven with their grandparents and cousins.

We went boating one day with my parents and Mandy and Brady's family. It was so fun! I miss being out on the boat. Avy hated it and was so worried about everyone going under the water and crashing. She basically cried the entire time and when we were all done she said, "that was so much fun!". Jett loved it and ate about 10 oreos.

Jett got his first tooth! top left :)

The next weekend was extra special because we had TWO amazing little baptisms to attend. Mazie Thomason and Jackson Gardner got baptized on Aug. 2, 2014. We wanted to attend both baptisms, but they were at the exact same time in different churches. So Chris took Jett to watch Mazie and I took Avy to watch Jackson.
They are both such incredible little kids and we are so proud of them. What good examples they are setting for Avalee and Jett.
Unfortunately, Chris didn't take any pictures of Mazie at her baptism (even though I told him to!!!) so we don't have any of her :( sad

Playmill

Back to Rexburg again!
This year the Playmill, in West Yellowstone, was playing Beauty and the Beast. I knew Avy would love it so we got tickets. Warren, Colby and Denise and their kids, and my parents came with us. It was so fun and the play was awesome! Before the play, Avy got to have a tea party with Belle! The real girl! Avy was is pure shock the entire time. She was so excited :)

We wanted to go through Yellowstone park before the show but we didn't have time so we went to see Hebgen Lake.  There was a huge earthquake there in 1959. The mountain literally broke in half and there was a huge landslide. Pretty crazy/amazing to see.
