January

The last few weeks have honestly been kind of boring. Its too cold to go do anything. So other than changing diapers and doing laundry, this is what we have been up to the last few weeks....

Avy started her little dance class. She is the youngest in her class. And all the other girls have been in that class since last fall so she is the new bee. She gets so excited to go to dance and is dancing around the house all day but when we get to class, she gets scared and will NOT let me leave her side. It is going to take a few weeks/months for her to relax and just go out there by herself.

This is kind of sad (haha)... but this is how class usually goes. The teacher says to do something and Avy just freezes, looks at me and says, "mommy help you!" She may be shy, but she is by FAR the cutest one  :)

We have LOVED loved our new ipad. We watch Frozen at least once a day ( www.watch32.com ). We have every song memorized. She has a few games and little apps she likes to play on there too. One of her favorites is the crazy pictures app.

recently we have been making brownies or cookies a lot. Just because its fun and Delicious. win win
Who do you think she learned this from :) ?? hint- not me!

We went to jump time one night to get the kidos out of the house. Every other family in Meridian was thinking the same thing. It was packed, but still pretty fun.
Jetts face! ha
Classic hug from Avy. He get so much love!

The rest of the time we just  like to stay warm and play in our little house. We play a lot of pretend kitchen, tea parties, princess/ babies, coloring, tummy time, changing diapers and cleaning up messes. I love these two little babes more than anything.

waiting for "bookie" to get done in the wash. She cried the entire hour

He loves standing. could do this all day!

While we were taking those pics of Jett, Avy kept saying, "AAAAs turn!!"
ok A-A :)

Thomason Christmas party

The day after Christmas we had the Thomason family Christmas party. It was one we will never forget.
The party started with a little movie about Gail Halvorsen, the "candy bomber" from the air force in World War 2.  Its is an incredible story about a man who dropped candy from his airplane to the children in Berlin during the time of uncertainty and privation. Im assuming anyone who reads this blog is a member of my family and you already know the story. But if you dont, go ahead and google it :) its such a cool story.
Anyways, after we watched the movie we went outside and had our very own candy bomber come to the party. He "wiggled his wings" and then dropped candy attached to parachutes just like the real candy bomber did! It was so amazing. Such and awesome and spiritual experience to be a part of. The best part was that the pilot was my dad and my mom dropped the candy! They could not have done a better job.  I seriously have the most amazing family.

Wiggle wings!

Just like the real thing!!

My dad came afterwards and gave a perfect little talk on how if felt to drop the candy.
he is the coolest guy ever

And then we eat and eat and eat!

Then, as always, the wonderful nativity. And SANTA!!

Then it was present time. Bonnie gave all the little girls a beautiful jewelry box that has music and a dancing ballerina inside. And inside the box was a heart shaped locket with a picture of Bonnie and the girl in it. It is such a treasure that Avy will love her entire life.

She gave the little boys a train set with the Christmas train story book. Opening the train and reading the book is now going to be one of my favorite traditions every Christmas.

We set it up when we got back to Boise. We just couldn't wait until next year!
The video is for you Bonnie :)

The best gift Warren and Bonnie gave us was a copy of their testimony. Everyone was given a copy that was individually written for them. Such a priceless gift that will help us all for years and years to come. This was such an incredible and memorable Christmas with the Thomasons.
