July 5th-15th

This week we played a lot with our best buddies, Madi and Diana. Everyday Avy wants to call Madi and see if she can play.

We have had some crazy rain/ thunder storms this week. So of coarse we had to go play in it.

 And when its not raining, we are at the pool!

Madis Birthday was the 11th. She had a cute little party at her house complete with bday cake, presents and a pinata.

We took the kids to see the new minion movie. We thought Jett would love it because he loves the minions in Despicable Me.  Well, he watched about 20 minutes of the show. The rest of the time he was running around the hall with Chris. He is not quite ready for movie theaters. But, Avy loved it and was laughing the entire time.

We headed back to Rexburg for the Beck family reunion. We came a few days early to help my mom get ready for the reunion although we didn't do anything but mess up her house and eat their food. Not much of a help. But the kids love being with their grandparents and cousins.
We celebrated Madis birthday with their family at the park. The cupcakes were ta big hit.

4th of July (and weekend)

On July 3rd we went up to Horse shoe Lake with the Gardners and my mom. It was so nice to get in the mountains and play in the (surprisingly warm!) lake.  Such a nice relaxing day. 

The 4th was so fun but busy! Rexburg parade, Gardners BBQ, playing outside, Avy peeing her pants 4 times, and ending the night with fireworks. We were all very tired that night but it was so fun spending the day with my family.

June 22- June 29th

Our sweet, happy, adorable, hilarious, crazy little Jett boy is still not talking. Well, not talking English. He jabbers all the time and will talk to you in full sentences, but it makes no sense. So we took him to get his hearing checked. About $250 later, they told us he is perfectly fine and his hearing is great. Hopefully he will talk someday. He did get to play with this sweet tractor that he loved!

On Thursday, Chris and Brayden had work off so we decided to take the kids to Roaring Springs water park. It was so fun! The kids loved the lazy river, the wave pool, and the kids area but Avy would not even go close to the slides. I tried to make her go on one and she was screaming and bawling. Chris and I both said we need to come back without the kids and really have fun on all the slides!

June 13- 21st Chris's Bday

We went to Eagle Island with Diana and Brayden, Megan and all our kids. The kids loved the sand so much! It was way fun...super hot, but fun.

We went to Rexburg to celebrate Chris's birthday and Fathers day. It was a quick trip, but so fun and nice to see our family.
Jett had serious motor vehicle over stimulation and he loved every second! In one day, he got to see Airplanes, grandpas farm tractors and ride the motorcycles. It was probably the best day of his life so far. On the other hand, Avy was standing right by me for all these pictures, scared to death that I might make her ride one. She doesn't want anything to do with it!

May 25- June 12th. Summer is here!

Summer time is here in Boise and we are loving it! The past few weeks have been full of playing outside getting dirty and trying to keep cool at the swimming pool!

Madi got a new little four wheeler for her birthday. Jett absolutely loved it! I'm afraid we might need to get one....when he is lots older!

Avy finished swimming lessons. She really loved it and was always excited to go but, she never put her face in the water and I think it actually made her more scared of swimming and "going under". We are still working on "blowing bubbles".

We go to our pool almost everyday. The kids LOVE it and it always wears them out for bedtime!

My good friend from college got married on the 6th. It was so fun getting together again with my best friends from x-ray school!!

Jett is making that adorable smile because he knows he is in trouble!!! First, because he took his diaper off. and second, because he is not suppose to play with daddies tools! He LOVEs playing with those tools and is always climbing up there.
