June 1- 12 SUMMER! and camping

Summer is officially here and we are loving it! The pool is open and we have been almost everyday since.

They play on the tree swing all day
This park has a big sand pit and the kids obviously loved it
more swimming pool...
and more swinging after the swimming pool :)
Allison came to town for work so we had a fun girls night and went to Barbacoa! Best restaurant in Boise.

We took our first camping trip for the summer up to Idaho city. We only stayed one night but it was way fun and the kids loved it. We hiked, played in the river ( Jett totally jumped in and scared up to death), ate tinfoil dinners over the fire and had too many S'mores. Our little tent was actually warm and cozy. The next morning we cleaned up our camp and went into town for an amazing home cooked breakfast. It was the perfect little camping trip.

We came home and unpacked then went straight to the pool again! Its just too much fun.

May 26-31 Memorial weekend

Memorial weekend:

*Thursday- Avy graduated her first year in preschool! She really has grown so much and preschool has helped her in so many ways. We love Mrs Jenny and are excited to get her again next year.
After the graduation we got in the car and headed straight to Rexburg for the long weekend!

Friday- I woke up sick as a dog and was throwing up/ couldn't get off the toilet. Not sure if I ate something bad but I was useless all day. Avy mostly played with my mom or up at Mandys house. Chris took Jett  and they went fishing. Jett is a natural and caught a ton of fish!

Saturday- I woke up totally fine... thankfully it was only a 24 hour thing! Chris planned an awesome little day date for us. We borrowed Warrens four wheeler and he took me to Birch creek, up through scull cannon and into the mountains somewhere. It was beautiful and fun and such a cute and well planned date by my handsome man! We even had time to catch a few fish in the creek :)

Sunday- We went to the cemetery to see Steves grave. My moms flowers were so beautiful!! I miss him so much and cant help but think of what an awesome and fun uncle/dad he could have been.
Later we met up with Colby and Denise and their kids for some more fishing and it was awesome. We probably caught around 50 fish.
We spent the rest of the day at Warrens house eating and talking. Then we visited Bonnies grave. It has now been 2 years since she died and we still miss her terribly.

Monday- My mom took us to the carousel! The kids loved it. Then we went up to the farm to see my dads new projects and fly some kites. The wind was blowing like crazy so the kites flew great :)

It was such a awesome weekend. We were all sad to leave and come back to Boise

May 16-22 Avy's recital

We finally got Jett a new bed, decided to make the guest room into Avys room and paint it PINK!! This was such a last minute idea and was really rushed but everyone loves their new rooms!
Painting with kids is near impossible but thankfully Chris didn't have to work and helped a ton!
Jett obviously loved helping with Avys new room

My amazing parents came for Avys little dance recital. It made the her feel so special! Gma Janet took the girls to get a "dancing little pony" for good job at the recital. Avy said/yelled multiple times that this was the best day ever!!!
Jett was just as happy with his bag of chips :)

The make up :) She had been excited for the makeup for weeks!

She really was happy, just didn't want me to take her picture...

My parents got her roses and she could not believe she did SO good that she got flowers!! They were so beautiful! All week she kept looking at them and commenting on how amazing she did at her dance recital!
