We drove up on the 4th and met everyone for the fire work show in Stanley. It was actually a pretty impressive show for such a small town. There was a little school with a playground close so we all played and took pictures of the amazing sawtooth mountains. They are breath taking- so beautiful.
Chris, Avy and I spent most of the fire works in the car because she hated them so much and would not stop crying... maybe next year she will like them :)
The rest of the weekend was full of motor bikes & four wheelers, river rafting, camp crafts, eating way too much food, and talking around the campfire. Avy and I stuck around camp most the time. She is too little for most the activities and Im too big! But Avy was in heaven playing in the dirt and collection 400 rocks and playing in the river. It was seriously so much fun and we are already getting excited for next year.
Avalee absolutely adores these little girls! She would yell "sara" and "Toori" the entire time. Thanks Tori and Sierra for playing with her the entire time!
Avys new best friend, Gus. You would think she would be scared of such a HUGE dog, but she loved him and chased him around camp the entire time.
Just painting some crafts and making bead necklaces.
This was our little home for the weekend. The tent is made for the bed of the truck and has a air mattress in the back. Its actually really comfortable and we all slept great!
We always camp in the Yankee fork of Stanley. It has a lot of history with miners and dredging for gold. There is a little ghost town close where you can shift the dirt for gold. It is pretty fun and everyone always finds ( a little!!) gold to take home :)
