We came home from the hospital Sunday afternoon, September 22. We were lucky enough to have Bonnie and Warren come visit! They took care of Avy, held Jett and made dinner. Even though they were not here long, they were a huge help and we are so grateful they came!!
The Thomasons had to leave, but thank heaven my beautiful mom is still here and is basically doing everything. She is a life saver and I couldn't do it without her!

September 21st 2013!!!
Starting back at the begining of the week....
sep 16th- My doctor said I was very far along (dilated 4, 90% effaced) and she would be surprised if I didnt go into labor this week. If I didnt go on my own I was scheduled to be induced on the 23rd.
The rest of the week was spent going on a lot of walks and getting some last minute baby things.
sep 20th- Avy and I went to costco and just played at home. When Chris got home from work we went to the park and out for ice cream. I wanted to do everything Avy loved to do that weekend because I knew we would have a new baby on Monday.
SEP 21st!!!
- 12:30am-I couldn't sleep. My stomach was starting to hurt but I wasn't counting time between contractions. I just thought it was something I ate.
-1:30am- I got out of bed and started cleaning to take my mind off the pain. I started looking at the clock between contractions and they were about every 5 minutes. I didn't want to freakout and get too excited... I was not going to go to the hospital and be sent home...
-2:15am- I woke up Chris and told him I might be in labor! By now the pain was so bad I couldn't really talk or move during contractions. I called Diana to come be with Avy. We were just going to go to the hospital and make sure everything was okay...
-2:45am- The drive to the hospital was horrible. I was having BAD contractions every 2 minutes.
-3:00am- At the hospital. Horrible contractions! The next 45 minutes was spent answering hospital questions, getting IVs, and trying to hold still during the awful epidural! The epidural only worked on my left side- mostley just my left leg, not even my stomach. So that was a waste of time!! I was pretty mad. When he was all done with the epidural I laid down and the doctor broke my water. I may have been screaming things like, "this hurts SO BAD" and "get him OUT!" :)
Then 2 quick pushes later...
-3:55am- He was HERE!!! Our beautiful, healthy, perfect little boy :)
7lbs 5 ounces
19.5 inches
Jett Christopher Thomason
Avy meeting her little brother! She was a little scared at first, but now loves him and always wants to hold him.
The heroes, lifesavers, and total caretakers of little Avy. Seriously could not have done it without these two
sweet little dimple :) just like his daddy

Another Rexburg trip
Labor day weekend was the last time my doctor said I could travel before having the baby. So I took advantage and spent a week in Rexburg with family. This trip started off a little different... My good friend Marci was getting married on the Friday before labor day. I really wanted to go and see all my friends at the wedding. But Chris had to work that friday and saturday so I didn't have a ride to rexburg. I couldn't drive by myself with Avy, so I decided to take the shuttle bus. It was not totally horrible...The bus was a little scary but there were a few nice people who helped me
with my luggage and Avy. A few of those people were two men who
literally just got out of prison and were on their way home...eekk. I wont ever do it again, but it got me to Rexburg in time for the wedding and I got to spend some time with some of my amazing friends.
The beautiful bride and the huge preo girl
We didnt do anything crazy exciting this trip. Just spent some good quality time with our family. I love them all so much. Wish we lived closer
at the park with cousins
playing babies with gma Bonnie
after church with the Thomasons
We had the Thomason family pictures while we were in town. Bonnie starts chemotherapy soon and wanted to do pictures before she lost her hair (obviously). So unfortunately, we don't have our little boy in the pictures. Maybe he can be Photoshopped in later :) These were a few snap shots I took with my phone
Did I mention we had to take family pics when I was 36.5 months pregnant.... I hope I wont look as huge and swollen in the pictures as I feel. yuck...
This is my beautiful mom and her amazing flowers in the front yard. Look at those roses!!!
We had such a great time in rexburg. I miss everyone already! But now it is time for me to stay home and get ready for our little boy!! Only a few more weeks :)

the past few weeks...
We have been busy! Some fun stuff and some not so fun things....
At the 4th of July campout, Bonnie (Chriss mom) was not feeling well. She went to the hospital the next day and has been in and out of hospitals in Idahofalls and Utah for the last month. She was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. This was a total shock to everyone and is completely devastating. It has been a very emotional and sad few weeks. But, Bonnie is such an amazing woman and if anyone can beat this, it will be her! She has been through so much testing and surgeries this past month. It has been very hard on her but she has such a good attitude and is a fighter.
We have been able to go visit her in Utah a few times. And Warren (Chriss dad) had total knee surgery a few weeks ago, so I went to Rexburg to help him with appointments. We have been back and forth from Rexburg to Salt lake to Boise a bunch this last month!
This was one day in Utah at the hospital. Denise and Allison gave Bonnie a pedicure. And Avy pushed the nurse button about 100 times... oops
Are these two twins or what?!! What a lucky little girl to look exactly like her beautiful grandma!
These are some pictures of us in Rexburg playing with grandpa Warren in their back yard.
I need to give my parents a thank you shout out! They are always there with an open door, room, food and entertainment. Thankyou so much for letting Avy and I basically live with you this summer :)
Avys best friend, "papa". He is the only person she will sit and watch Seinfeld with.
Playing with her other best friend, Anni, at the splash park in rexburg. What a blast!
My parents flew us back to boise so we didn't have to do that drive again. I can not tell you how amazing it is to only have to fly for one hour, compared to a 5 hour long, carsick, screaming toddler car ride. Avy and I both slept the entire way. It was awesome!
We are back in Boise now. At least this week :) back into our routine of going for walks, swimming at the pool, playing at the park and trying to cleaning all her messes
( I went ahead a drew a shirt on chris :) sometimes its just to hot to wear shirts around our house ha!)
And on a little side note, Chris and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on the 8th! Avy and I had balloons everywhere and made a box cake. We went swimming at the pool and just hung out at home. It was the perfect way to celebrate! Im so in Love with this man and am so lucky to have him. Thanks for being such an amazing man, Chris. Love you forever!!
