a quick trip

The Super Bowl....I honestly don't care about it. The commercials and half time is all I ever like to watch. BUT, I love the super bowl party!!
We decided to make a quick trip to Rexburg for the Thomason super bowl party. And thanks to the i-pad, the 9 hour drive in two days wasn't that bad. Even though we only stayed one night, it was such a fun weekend. We were busy playing the entire time!

Playing in the wonderful Rexburg snow

While we were at my parents house Jett learned how to sit up by himself for a few seconds! At 4 months!! amazing :)

We got to visit my amazing great grandma, Nana. Her birthday is on September 20th and Jett's is on the 21st. Nana is 99 years and 1 day older than him :) How cool is it that they have a Great Great grandma they can visit?!
Jett loved her. They had a staring contest for awhile :)

Of coarse, my mom whipped up a beautiful and delicious Sunday dinner.  I don't know how she does it, but she never fails.

And then we headed to the super bowl party. I can honestly say I didn't even watch one minute of the game :) I would way rather chat with my sisters and eat chips and dip all night! And It was a blast!!

And Avy was in heaven with her favorite girls!

Recently...

Last weekend my amazing parents came to visit. There is just something about having my parents around that makes everything more fun, more exciting and just more wonderful! I mean, on Friday we just went shopping at Costco and it was a blast!!  We loved having them here!

Nothing other than a DQ dilly bar with Papa Rob. (maddi, say cheese! ha)

The boys had another weekend of shooting guns, shopping at Cabelas, and going to war movies. Don't mess with these guys. They can't even wait for a bad guy to come so they can use all their skills.

Beautiful grandma Janet playing with these two little monsters. They were getting lotion everywhere.

Out shopping with grandma. They probably regret coming after looking at their bank account :) Sorry, Avy just "needs" everything

Other than my parents coming, we have been pretty boring. The weather has been really cloudy/foggy and cold cold. Not too exciting. But we have still been having fun playing with these two little babies. Even though I go a little crazy sometimes, I LOVE staying home with them. They are all the entertainment I need :)

Cold winter days call for long fun baths
Just playing princesses. An every day activity. Notice her "Dorthy shoes". She always wants them on

Jett 4 months

Our little Jett boy turned 4 months on the 21st. He is the happiest, sweetest little baby ever!!
-He is getting so big. Weighs 16lbs 9ouncs (62%)and 26inches tall (59%). And is in mostly 9 month clothes.
-He LOVES bath time. Kicks, splashes, and laughs the entire time
- Loves sucking his thumb/ fingers
-He was sleeping about 6-7 hours... until last week he decided that he wanted to eat every 2 hours again. I don't know what to do about that.
- No rolling yet. But loves being on his tummy
- Loves standing on his little legs.
-The only thing I don't love about this little guy is is super man strength grip and how he loves to pull my hair out. All. The. Time!
- He loves to be cuddled. Sleeps so much better with someone by him and is always happy when Im holding him. Good thing we love to cuddle him :)

he is always so happy on the changing table

Jett had his first hair cut! There were just a few crazy long ones that needed to be evened out. So I went to the professional, Diana to do the job :) he doesn't  even look different but we did take a lot off. Kind of sad

January

The last few weeks have honestly been kind of boring. Its too cold to go do anything. So other than changing diapers and doing laundry, this is what we have been up to the last few weeks....

Avy started her little dance class. She is the youngest in her class. And all the other girls have been in that class since last fall so she is the new bee. She gets so excited to go to dance and is dancing around the house all day but when we get to class, she gets scared and will NOT let me leave her side. It is going to take a few weeks/months for her to relax and just go out there by herself.

This is kind of sad (haha)... but this is how class usually goes. The teacher says to do something and Avy just freezes, looks at me and says, "mommy help you!" She may be shy, but she is by FAR the cutest one  :)

We have LOVED loved our new ipad. We watch Frozen at least once a day ( www.watch32.com ). We have every song memorized. She has a few games and little apps she likes to play on there too. One of her favorites is the crazy pictures app.

recently we have been making brownies or cookies a lot. Just because its fun and Delicious. win win
Who do you think she learned this from :) ?? hint- not me!

We went to jump time one night to get the kidos out of the house. Every other family in Meridian was thinking the same thing. It was packed, but still pretty fun.
Jetts face! ha
Classic hug from Avy. He get so much love!

The rest of the time we just  like to stay warm and play in our little house. We play a lot of pretend kitchen, tea parties, princess/ babies, coloring, tummy time, changing diapers and cleaning up messes. I love these two little babes more than anything.

waiting for "bookie" to get done in the wash. She cried the entire hour

He loves standing. could do this all day!

While we were taking those pics of Jett, Avy kept saying, "AAAAs turn!!"
ok A-A :)
