July in Boise

These past few months have been so busy with trips to Rexburg, but the last 2 weeks we have been able to be home and enjoy Boise. These are some of the things we have been up to.

Lots of walks and playing outside

building princess towers

My homemade tree house! she Loved it up there. She sat with her blanket and ipad for 30 minutes

Poor Brayden was in a horrible motorcycle accident and broke his femur, ribs and shoulder. So sad! We got to watch Maddi while Diana was in the hospital with Brayden. Avy and Maddi had their first sleepover party! They did so good and slept together all night by themselves. Those two can be the very best friends or worst enemies within seconds... but most the time they are best friends :)
My Parents came the next day to help. We are all praying for a quick recovery! We are just so grateful it wasn't worse, and hope he gets better soon!

Madi got to come to Avys little dance camp with her.
(Avy had a small dance camp for 2 weeks and I got to be her teacher. It was really fun!)

These two and their "warm bottles of milk!!"

Im sad about the reason why my parents had to come, but we are sure glad they did! Everything is more fun with grandma and grandpa around!

horse shoe lake

While we were in Rexburg for the 4th, Chris wanted to go up to Horse Shoe lake. I had never been before, and it is awesome. We took goggles and swam in/under/through the lily pads. It is defiantly something we will have to do every summer from now on.

On Sunday we got together for dinner with my family. Thats when this awesome picture happened :) Such cute kids

4th of July

No better place to be for the fourth than good old Rexburg. Thanks to Warren, we had front row seats at the parade. And then we went to Mandy and Bradys for a BBQ and fire works. Such a fun day!

a (bad) family pic before we went to the parade....

They were all so happy to be here!

The after party and BBQ at Mandy and Bradys house.

huntsman fireworks

Last year Bonnie went to the Huntsman Spring firework show in Driggs and she loved it and made us promise we would go this year. Before she died she said no matter what happened with her, we HAD to go and watch the fireworks because she would be there and didn't want to sit alone :) So we went and had a great time! They were, by far, the best fireworks I have ever seen. It was such a fun night and I hope Bonnie was there watching them with us.

This was the next day at before church. I blew Avys hair dry STRAIGHT! It doesn't go very straight :) Such a beauty with amazing hair. Lucky little girl

We spent the week in Rexburg to celebrate the 4th with our family. Our week has basically been playing with cousins, swimming, eating, and more playing.

Jett and Avys favorite pass time...

happy birthday Colton! His birthday party was the best!

Chris's Birthday weekend

Our favorite man, the best daddy, the hardest worker, sweetest guy in the world, turned 34 years old! Happy happy birthday to you, Chris. I could not ask for a better man to have in my life. We all love you so much!!
We had a special pool and pizza party for him :) just what every 34 year old guy wants!

My mom, Anni and Kate came to Boise for the weekend to help me with the kids. One of my best friends from college got married in Oregon and we were invited to the wedding. So my mom babysat and Chris and I got a night with just us two (which hasn't happened since before Avy was born!!) It was much needed time away and we had so much fun at the wedding.

This is a picture they texted us. Jett man with the Best babysitter in the world!
