Aug 16th- 23rd. Rodeo, peaches, football and family!!

This week has been so FUN!! There are only a few weeks of summer left and I want to pack in as much fun as we can!!

The Caldwell Rodeo! The kids loved it. Avy wore real wranglers (from DI!! ha) and the entire next day she rode around on her bike, with a sparkly dress and hat on, pretending she was the "radio queen!"

Diana and I went out to the LDS orchards in Caldwell. Who knew that we grow peaches, pears, plums, and all kinds of apples here?! Delish!!
Of coarse the kids picked the green ones...

The BSU football scrimmage! It was a chance to go to a (kind of) BSU football game and it was free! Hopefully we can take them to a real one someday, but this worked for now :)

 On Saturday we had visitors! Denise and her kids had to come to Boise for a mission farewell so they stayed with us. It was so fun to spend some time with them. My kids LOVE Mazie and Kash so much! Wish they could have stayed longer.

 I ordered Avy a cheap mermaid tail and it was a hit! She totally thought she was a real mermaid.

Aug 1-15. Summer fun

Nothing new going on at our house. Just having fun and enjoying the last month of summer!

We went to DI and found some treasures. A stethoscope! Avy LOVES playing doctor and is over the moon happy about her REAL stethoscope :)

Anther bad pinterest idea. Water beads. They are fun to play with and the kids loved them. Until Jett spilled them all over. Imagine 500 tiny, wet bouncy balls rolling all over my house. Then Jett took his diaper off and was running and kicking them all over.

 Chris and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary! Diana watched our kids and we went out to one of our favorite restaurants. We even had carrot cake for dessert, which was the flavor of our wedding cake.... so random that we picked carrot cake as our wedding cake flavor. I don't who picked that but it was delicious and will always remind me of our amazing wedding!
He obviously loves taking selfies!!

More pool time with friends. I don't know what I would do without our pool. It is our favorite!

When I work grave yard shifts I always bring the kids home a doughnut from the cafeteria. Well, I forgot one morning and Avy really wanted one so we went to Krispy Kream! such a magical place and soo yummy!

July 20- 31st

Summer time! For the kids, the past few weeks have been....Swimming pool, popsicles, playing with the hose, playing dress ups, playing in the mud, going to parks, going to the library, making messes and getting out every toy we own, then night time movies.  And then it all repeats. 

My past few weeks have been..... clean, make food, clean, laundry, fun project or go to the park for the kids,  go to the grocery store, work a few grave yard shifts, clean clean clean then love, kiss and adore my little family. And it all repeats :)

 I tried to make a water blob. Well, pinterest, you forgot to mention to lock your kids inside while you make this or they will be running and sliding all over the plastic while you are trying to duck tape it closed.
The blob lasted a few hours and then it had all leaked out. There were about a million places where the duck tape was wrinkled and didn't hold together. Whatever. It was fun for a minute. Another pinterest experiment that I failed at :)

Believe it or not, Costco already has halloween costumes out! And you know we couldn't leave without the minion costume and another princess dress.

 We were painting leaves. And then it turned into painting eachother!

 The ZOO!! the kids loved it. We will have to go back soon

July 16-19th Beck reunion

The Beck reunion!! Such a fun weekend spent in Island Park with the Websters. My parents rented a beautiful cabin. We went boating, paddle boarding, 4-wheeling, to the Playmill, and ate non stop.  My mom was in charge of  the Beck reunion this year and it was so fun. It was only about 70 degrees the entire weekend, but we still had a blast. Neither of my kids would come near the tube and never even got in the water but I went skiing and my legs are still sore :) Thanks Mom and Dad for such a great weekend!

The 4 wheeler was one of the highlights for my kids. They LOVED it!
