Thanksgiving weekend in Rexburg

Such a fun weekend to spend with our families and eat a lot of food :) The kids absolutely loved  playing with their cousins all weekend. Chris got to spend a lot of time with his brothers and dad. And I got in a lot of quality time shopping with Mandy and my mom. So it was a great weekend!!

We left for Rexburg around 6am on Thursday (thanksgiving) morning. There was a bad snow storm the night before and the roads were horrible. It took us about 7 hours to get to Rexburg. But thanks to the movies on the ipad, lots of coloring books and treats, we survived!

We arrived about 30 minutes before Thanksgiving dinner started! perfect timing. My mom always makes the most beautiful, delicious, perfect thanksgiving dinner. She is absolutely amazing!! I don't know how she does it all.

And my mom carried on the tradition of Christmas jammies the night of thanksgiving. So fun for the kids. The PJs were a hit this year!!

Friday night we went to the movie, "The good dinosaur". It was a cute show but the best part was that Jett and Avy sat still and watched the entire thing!!! Then we played on the toys after the movie.....

Saturday night we went to the gymnastics center open gym. My kids obviously loved every second.

Nov 8th-22 random happenings

I should probably take more picture of this because it happens almost every night. Piggy back rides / chase game. The kids favorite!!

Its getting cold but that cant stop Jett from riding that bike!!
New outfit from her birthday
Night out at texas roadhouse. One of our favorites!

If the sun is shining and its above 30 degrees, we play at the park!!

New birthday dress. She said "I look magical!"

Thanksgiving day party at preschool. I volunteered to come help but wasn't much help because I had Jett with me. But he loved preschool!

random... one of our neighbors lost their bunny and it was hanging around our yard for 2 days. The kids loved it!

Avys Birthday!!

Our beautiful Avalee is FOUR!!! She is the happiest sweetest little girl. I cant believe she is already  four.
- She is 32 pounds
- This little princess, loves princesses! She is always playing with her doll house with her princesses or dressing up as a princess. She doesn't really have a favorite. She loves them all!
-She started preschool this fall and is doing really good. She is so smart and her teacher says she is such a good little student.
- Avy is such a mommas girl. We are best buds! She always wants to be with me or have me hold her. She hates when I have to go to my "meetings" (work). She always wants me to lay by her at night to go to sleep. We really are best friends and I hope that never changes.
- She is still totally and completely obsessed with her blanket. Its falling apart more and more everyday. But she has to have it everywhere she goes.
- She loves her little dance class and is always dancing around the house. She is so cute and good!
- Her beautiful curly hair is getting long! It almost touches her bum when its straight. Very thin, but long "like Rapunzel"!
- She is such a good big sister. She is always cautious about where Jett is and if he is in trouble. They have their moments of fighting but for the most part, they are pretty good friends.
- Avy has such a sensitive, sweet little heart. She gets so so sad if I put her in time out or if she gets into trouble. She just cant handle it if she gets her feelings hurt. She is getting tougher but I think she will always be a sensitive little soul.
- She is just so full of love, happiness, energy and joy. This precious little girl means the world to us and Im so lucky I get to be her mom.

We hired a lady to come dressed up as the real Cinderella at her princess birthday party. She was really sweet and Avy loved her. I had higher expectations for her and what she did at the party but the girls loved her and thats all that matters.

Avys friends at the party:
Kenna (Nikke's daughter), Madi, Cinderella, Avy, Mckenna (primary friend)
Juliette (preschool), Katherine (primary), and Kenna (preschool)

Halloween week!

Halloween is not just one night anymore. Its a whole week of dressing up and parties and candy! It was way fun but Im so glad its over. And add in that I worked two grave yard shifts this week.... I was basically zombie mom the entire week!!

On Saturday, the 24th, our ward had a trunk or treat. We were only there about a half hour. It was cold and and not a lot of people. And 3 teenagers took all our candy on the trunk (about $30 worth) I was so mad. But my kids looked cute and we had fun getting dressed up and decorating our trunk :)
Avy was Cinderella and Jett was Sulli from monsters inc.

Avys dance class had a Halloween party the next Wednesday. Their Halloween dance was so cute!! Avy wanted to be a fairy

The next day (Thursday) was Avys preschool Halloween party. She was cinderella again. With the shoes and everything!

Later that night was the Meridian trunk or treat. Avy wanted to change it up a bit and go as Belle! There were a ton of people but it was way fun and we even got to meet Belle, Elsa and some minions!

Friday night was carving pumpkins night! The kids loved the pumpkin guts. And blowing out the candle :)

Then on Saturday, actual Halloween, we started off by going to Frozen on Ice! It was so cute. Makes me want to go to Disney Land even more! Its just so magical!!
So obviously, Avy dressed up as Elsa with her long braid and everything!! She made me call her Elsa all morning

Finally, for actual trick or treating that night, Avy obviously wanted to switch it up again and be Jasmine.
Her and Jett were so so cute trick or treating. We only went to about 6 houses and the rest of the night they loved answering the door and handing out candy. It was such a fun day!

The firemen come to our neighborhood on Halloween and hand out candy. So cute and nice!!
