Dec 28- Jan 17th. New Year!!

Back to Boise! Christmas break was SO wonderful, but it was nice to get back home. We took down Christmas after new years and I got the organization bug... I took about 4 large bins of baby clothes and stuffed animals to DI. It was a little sad but we are running out of space! Other then that, the kids have just been enjoying their Christmas presents.

Anni gave Avy her old mermaid tail and suit. Avy LOVES it and requests to wear it every bath.

 Christmas tree is down!
For New Years, we went swimming at the YMCA and the kids had a blast. It was fun to see our kids in the pool again! They love it so much. After swimming Chris wanted to make a fun dinner to celebrate so he got some huge, nice shrimp. Well, turns out that we dont know how to cook shrimp and they were pretty disgusting. HA. At least we made funny memories!

My favorite Christmas gift from Santa is this spinner swing. My kids love it!! So fun to have a swing in our yard.

This picture is not good, but I wanted to document the week our furnace broke. Not only did it burnout, the ducting under our house needed repairs. So that was an expensive little Christmas present I did NOT want. But it was kind of fun cuddling by the fire to keep warm :)

Chris and his new toy. Love my cute robin hood.
Avy playing princesses. This picture perfectly describes Avy and what she loves :)
Jett playing his tractors. Sometimes Ill find him upstairs playing this all by himself. He loves it!
My other favorite Christmas gift-The Bounce House!! Avy and Jett LOVE it!! And I love how it wears them out :)

We took our kids up to "The Springs" in Idaho City. Its a big hot springs pool. It was so fun to swim outside in the beautiful mountains in toasty warm water!

True January boredom....Avy painting daddys toes. Such a good dad :)

This is the most snow we have gotten all winter. But it made for a pretty cute snowman

Christmas!

We spent Christmas in Rexburg with our families. It was about -15 degrees the entire time we were there so we didn't play outside very much but it was such a nice relaxing weekend spent with the people we love the most.
We left on Christmas eve and got to Rexburg just in time to make Santa cookies with Grandma Janet and go to the Gardners Christmas eve party.

Cutest little Angel

The "must be Santa!!" song. Such a weird but awesome Christmas tradition :)

Avy made and decorated her cookie for Santa all by herself. Then she drew a picture for Mrs Clause. SO CUTE!! She was so excited to see that he ate the cookie and took the picture. Its all so magical :)

Christmas morning was pure happiness. I love Christmas morning more as a parent than as a kid. Jett loved his tractor, little motor cycle and dart gun. He is total boy! Avy got so excited every time she saw her name on a present. She kept saying "A-V-Y!! this one is for me!!" She was most excited about all her new barbies/princesses and zoomer kitty toy.

Then it was time for the famous, incredibly delicious, grandma Janet Christmas breakfast! One of our favorite Christmas traditions. And then playing with toys :) All day long!

The Thomason Family Christmas party was the next day. Jason cooked amazing prime rib and shrimp. It was so delicious!! Warren read the Christmas nativity and all the dads played the puppets that Bonnie had. It was really cute and the kids loved it. Such a good night. Im so lucky to have amazing in laws that I love so much

This was once the grownup table but the kids have taken over!! :)

dec 14th-20th Websters visit

Boise finally got snow! It only stayed about 30 minutes. There wasnt enough to play in but we tried anyways. It has been rain/ snow almost every day for 2 weeks but we cant get the snow to stick

Another dance class performance. Basically, just regular dance class but they got to wear costumes so it was much more fun!

Rob and Janet came to visit! They came for Braydens graduation and they were going to babysit for Chris and I while we went to the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas concert in Salt Lake. But the roads were bad and it wasnt worth getting in a wreck. Bummer. Maybe next year. But we made up for it by having fun with my parents. They are the best and my kids adore them. We already cant wait to see them for Christmas!

My mom is perfection in everything she does.... except taking pictures under pressure. (haha) Avys got cut off a little but its ok :) Santa knows she is an angel

Sunday morning before church. Little Christmas babies

Dec 1st-13th getting ready for christmas...

Avy loves this Santa. She ballroom dances with him all day....
Avy had her Christmas dance performance. She did so good and wasnt even scared... the red lipstick helped her confidence :)

Friends doing christmas crafts
Jett loves coloring! So much that he is often doing it on the table, floor, walls, himself....

And christmas cookies... They are both obsessed with mixing

Avy set up this tea party ontop of the dresser all by herself! They thought they were so awesome

Avys preschool teacher set up an appointement to meet santa at the mall. I was actually suprised how good my kids did. Jett wasnt thrilled, but he sat there! And Avy even asked Santa for a barbie!

Her preschool class

The play place at the mall was a huge hit
