You would have thought we had our halloween fill from last weekend....But we had to celebrate one more day. We carved one more pumpkin, ate a lot more candy, dressed up one more time.
But first lets rewind a little... The costumes for kids are ridiculously cute. It was so hard to pick what she was going to be for halloween ( as if Avy even cared at all...) So I got a bunch of cheap costumes and basically dressed her up every day :) Im a stay at home mom with one baby girl- what else do I have to do all day other then dress up my baby??!
I give you the future Dr. Thomason
Sofia Grace and Rosie ( from Ellen)
A cute little fairy
Minnie mouse
And finally, a little black kitty. She hated the ears and the skirt....next year she will be a dressed up as a baby in PJs!
The one and only place we trick or treated was at Chris's office. This baby has had more candy and sweets in the last few days than she ever should in her life! Good thing she doesn't have any teeth yet ha!
Finally! Halloween is over! I have documented everything, I have already put away every decoration and the Christmas music has been blasting all morning!! :)

Halloween weekend Parties
Last weekend we went to rexburg to celebrate Halloween, and boy did we ever! Two awesome Halloween parties! If there is a Halloween game or activity, we have done it this year! So much fun
Every year Bonnie seriously throws a complete Halloween carnival for her family. It is amazing. We make donuts, the boys shoot pumpkins, tons of games, haunted houses, delicious food and endless treats. It is ridiculous how much fun we have. I didn't even take pictures of half of it!
Mandys Halloween party was the next night and it was so much fun! The highlights were my moms potato soup and Chris and Bradys pumpkin carving skills. They don't mess around

recently...
She is also getting pretty awesome at walking. She can now walk across the room without falling! This was taken a few weeks ago... she gets better every day!
She helped me rake leaves the other day. I though we should squeeze in as much outside time as we can before it gets too cold. she loved it!

Visitors
The Boise Temple open house is going on right now so the last few weekends we have had some visitors! The Temple was beautiful and having our family in town was so much fun. The last few weekends have been awesome.
My parents and Diana and Brayden came the first weekend the temple was open. It was busy!
Bonnie, Warren and Aunt Sonja came the next weekend.
(Sonja forgot her church clothes so Bonnie and I wore jeans so she didn't feel left out. I knew you were wondering mom)
And when we weren't going to the temple, shopping, going out to dinner, and spending time with family, we have just been enjoying this Beautiful fall! I am convinced we live in the most beautiful neighborhood. The fall colors are amazing and we get to enjoy them on our daily walks. ( My Iphone camera doesn't do it justice at all... bummer)

11 months
( Im over a week late on this post but better late then never)
- now says Dada all the time. Not actually directed to anyone, but she says it. And she will say Mama if she is sad or crying.
- She is very very passionate ( I don't know how to describe it?) about voicing her opinion when she wants something. She grunts and yells if she wants food or a toy. We need to work on her manners :)
- She has a really cute language of her own. Always babbling or squealing.
- When we ask her "how big are you?" she raises her arms up and we say "so Big!". And when we ask "how old are you?" she olds out her 1 finger. So cute.
- I wouldn't say she is walking yet... She will walk short distances and will walk to me when I hold my arms out but she still crawls most the time.
- She sleeps through the night! usually from 8-8. awesome! If she does wake up is because she wants in our bed... and we let her. Its so hard not to
- Her hair is getting really curly! Thats maybe the only genetic trait she got from me.
- such a good eater. She likes everything!
- totally obsessed with her blanket. She loves and cuddles that thing all day.
- waves "hi" to everyone!! Im not exaggerating- everyone! I usually end up talking to a bunch of random strangers every time we go out because they want to say hi to her and ask all about her... and then they tell me all about their children or grand kids... fun :/
- Such a happy sweet baby. She is my best buddy. Chris and I still can't believe she is ours and how lucky we are to have her.
(halloween costumes are like $1 at the kids second hand store so I obviously bought a few... this is one of them)
This happens every time I try to do dishes. She is getting pretty quick
I tried to get creative with her hair the other day. This is about as crazy as it gets
every once and awhile I let her feed herself. she did such a good job :)
( she is doing "SO big!" with her hands )

St Maries Idaho
I had never heard of it either.... its a very small town in northern Idaho, near Coeur D'Alene. Chris had a job opportunity up there so we decided to take a road trip and go check it out. A very long (7 hours one way) curvy, through the mountains road trip.
Interesting facts about this town
- there is only ONE four way stop. No stop lights.
- everyone knows everyone and everyones business
- St Maries is a logging town....their mascot is Paul Bunyan. ha
-The deer and other forest animals just live in peoples yards. and eat the gardens.
- If you want to feel like you are camping everyday of the year, St Maries is the place for you!!
It was a beautiful place and everyone was so nice. I don't think we will be taking the job but it was fun to see northern Idaho and get out of Boise for the weekend. But honestly, I hope I never have to do that long drive again :)
This is how Avy sat in her car seat most the way.... horrible I know. But it was such a long drive to be strapped in all that way.
This video can give you a little idea of how the drive was...I hope Ava will forgive us for putting her through it. Thank goodness we had her blanket or she would not have survived.

Avy and Madi
These two little dolls are only 8 months apart. How cute are they?!!
I bet they will laugh and be so embarrassed of these pictures when they are older.
I bet they will be best buds....but right now, all Avy wants to do it pull Madi's binky out. ha!
