May 3-10th. Dance recital

This week we are keeping busy with swimming lessons, dance class/dress rehearsal, and playing outside in this beautiful weather!

Avys big dance recital was on Saturday. Grandpa Rob and Grandma Janet surprised us and came that morning just to see the performance!! The kids were so excited! It was so fun to have them here even if it was just for a few hours.
Right before Avy went on stage she stared to cry and didn't want to perform. After a few bribes of a new dress, treats and threatening that gma and gpa would leave, she finally went on stage. And she was amazing! I was so proud of my little dancer. She could not have been cuter :)

May 10th was Mothers day. We went to church and then all took a nap together! Probably the best gift I could ask for. I love my babies more than anything. Im so lucky I get to be their mommy.

April 29- May 2. Womens conference

For Christmas all the girls gave my mom tickets to womens conference at BYU. It was really a present for all of us! The conference was amazing. We heard so many inspirational talks went to the funnest concert. Add in a little shopping and it was the perfect girls weekend!
"missinary mom" from meet the mormons. We were pretty excited to meet them :)

IKEA!! dangerous store

I would not have been able to go without the help of Denise and her kids. They came all the way to Boise and stayed at our house so they could babysit while Chris was at work. Im so grateful for them. My kids adore them and had such a blast together. They probably didn't even know I was gone for 3 days! We are so lucky to have them!

april 21- 28th

Avy had her first little dance performance at a nursing home. She was so excited and looked so cute. Well, Avy hadn't taken a nap that day and it was right at bed time. She wasn't feeling good all day and didn't eat dinner. So naturally, she got on stage and was bawling and didn't want to do the dance. She sat on my lap and cried the entire time. So we skipped the second dance and just left. You just don't mess with a tired, hungry 3 year old. Hopefully she will perform at the real show!

Avy and Jett helped me plant my flowers in our front yard. Then she picked most of the flowers and gave them to me as a present! It was so dang sweet, I couldn't even be mad!

Avy found my ultimate dress up!!
On Sunday, Chris had to make a quick trip to Rexburg to see a dental practice so the kids and I just stayed home. Well, I woke up Sunday morning sicker than a dog. I was on the toilet every 30 min and was so weak I could hardly move. It was the worst day of my life. And Chris wasn't there to help  :( So the kids literally had to take care of themselves. The night before we had the missionaries over for dinner and I didn't get it all cleaned up so Jett had a hay day playing in old potatoes and climbing up on the counter to eat the brownies. Good thing I didn't clean up because that is how they got fed that day. It was awful!.

Avy started her first day of swimming lessons. She was so excited and did so good. She was really shy with the teacher and wont even come close to putting her face in the water, but I was so proud of her for being brave and not crying!

April 6th-20th . Jett 18 months

Our little Jett man is now 18 months old. He is seriously the happiest, sweetest, most cuddly little bear cub. He brings so much joy to our family. We love him so much!!
His doctor appointment was this week. He is totally healthy and doing great. His motor skills are better than most 3 year olds. But he is a little slow on talking. He can say hi,bye, hot, all done, yes, and a lot of baby gibberish. He knows a few animal sounds but that is about it. He can communicate and get what he wants but, now he need to be using his words! I have a feeling that once he starts talking, we wont be able to shut him up. For now, Im happy with his adorable baby grunts and jabber.
He is growing like a weed! If they did measurements on baby hands and feet, Jetts would be off the charts! He wears a size 6.5 shoe and is in 2T, and some 3T clothes
height- 2ft 9 inches 64%
weight- 25 lbs 59%
head- 19.5 inches 93%

Avy had her dance class pictures this week. These two little cousins are the best of friends.

Avy had to give her first talk in primary. She did SO good! She stood up in the front, talked loud and held her picture like a champ. I was so proud of her!! I think the new dress helped :) She kept saying, "When I give my talk, will everyone see my dress?!"

Avy found a new box of dress ups (that I had been hiding). They had some of my old dresses in there. I still think they are cute!
I told Avy to pose and Jett stood right by her. Cuteness!!! And dont ask me why Jett never has pants on.... I think its because we change his diaper about 8 times a day and he never stays still long enough for me to put pants back on. And because I like his skinny legs!

I keep hoping that our winter sicknesses will stop but I guess its just what happens when you have children. They get sick. A lot. So, this week we had to deal with another round of throwup/diarrhea/fevers. Does it ever stop?!
Avys milk didn't settle well and come up all over me. It was disgusting.  And I just had to deal with it while I gave the kids a bath first. EEEW

For now, we are back to feeling good, healthy and running errands all over. A trip to get gas in the car is never complete with out ice cream. Avy loves Maverick and always wants to stop for ice cream and gas. ha

These two just playing guns. She always says she will get a pink one when she gets big. We will see about that...

March 29th- April 5th. Easter!

These are just a few pictures from the week.
Jett has turned into total destruction Tasmanian devil. He can climb up onto every surface in the house and whatever is there, will be pushed off or destroyed some how. Good thing he is cute and sweet....
A full bottle of  Baby powder all over my entire bathroom. Prior to this incident, he got into a bag of chocolate chips and smeared it all over the kitchen ( notice the chocolate lips?!)   argggg!!! this all happened when I took a 10 min shower. Looks like no more showers for me!!

These two crazies just laughing at themselves in the tub.
 Jump time!
This is the outfit Avy picked out for the day.

We went to Rexburg for Easter weekend and to watch conference. It was such a nice relaxing weekend. I had worked a graveyard shift the night before we left and I was exhausted. So it was nice to stay at my parents house and catch up on some sleep while my parents played with the kids!

Avy woke up so excited on Easter morning. And luckily, the Easter bunny remembered and  set out her basket around 1am....
She did so good finding the eggs, but Poor little Jett was so so sick :( he had a fever, runny nose and horrible cough all weekend. But he got a lot of sleep and is now doing much better.

The Easter bunny got her a new dress, swim suit and princesses but Grandpa Warren gave her Grandma Doralees doll house. Bonnie got it when Gma D died and she said Avy could have it when she died. So Gpa Warren let Avy take it home this weekend. She absolutely loves it! It is the most beautiful little doll house. I like playing with it almost as much as she does :)

My grandparents came over for Easter dinner.

It was fun celebrating Easter with family, but the real reason we came to Rexburg was so Chris could see/play with Warrens new gun. They basically just sat around and admired its beauty all weekend. Boys and their guns....
