March 13- 24 Rexburg trip

St Patrick's day. I hate this holiday. It use to be wear green day, but now its a huge deal to have the leprechaun come and leave treats, presents, gold, and make green food. Ugg. But I guess Ill play along....

I worked a graveyard shift the night before. When I got off work at 7 am I went to walmart and got Avy a green shirt to wear to preschool and some lucky charms cereal. She was pretty excited, until she came home from preschool and asked why our leprechaun didn't leave gold everywhere and footprints all over the house. shoot. Maybe he will next year?

The next day we went to Rexburg for baby Jayde's blessing day. I packed up the kids, movies and a ton of treats and we drove to Rexburg, just the 3 of us! Chris stayed in Boise because he had to work :( It was pretty scary doing that drive by myself with the kids but we did it and the kids were awesome.

Gma Janet got Avy a new mermaid tail and swim suit! I cant even explain the happiness. She absolutely loves it and is pretty sure she is a real mermaid.

Later that night we went out to Aunt Sonja's house to celebrate her birthday. It was so fun and good to see everyone. We all love her so much

Then, the long road back to Boise... I was so nervous but the kids slept over half the way. It was awesome. I had to snap this quick picture :)

march 3- 12th Madison state basketball

My parents and the Gardner family were coming to Boise for Madison state basketball tournament. We were SO excited to spend the weekend with them. Avy was helping me clean the upstairs before our family arrived. We were trying to hurry and Avy tripped over some clothes or toys and fell right into the corner of the coffee table. The worst and saddest thing I have ever seen!! It started bleeding everywhere and Avy was bawling. Right after it happened, everyone showed up at our house to play! Which made her even more sad that she couldn't play with her cousins. We took her to the ER and they cleaned her up and glued it shut. Avy was SO brave and did so good. Poor baby :( I hope it doesn't scar her perfect little skin :(

Just a few hours later and Avy was feeling much better and ready to go swimming! Kate and Anni are making Avy and Madi's mermaid dreams come true!!

This is random but I had to snap a picture because it NEVER happens. Jett fell asleep in the grocery cart and Avy was nice enough to share her blanket

Jett discovered the front camera while we were waiting for Avy to get out of preschool. He loves it! Now I have finally figured out a way for Jett to smile and look at the camera! He pressed something and it turned them black and white.... not sure how, but I think they are so cute

Denise and her kids came to Boise to visit over the weekend. It was so fun having them here! wish we lived closer

Feb 26th- March 2nd. Birthday

Chris's friend Matt and his girlfriend Claudia came to visit for the weekend. It was fun having them here and they were so sweet to our kids. Wish we lived closer!
