Birthday party!!!

We wanted to celebrate Avys birthday with all the family so we had a party in Rexburg over thanksgiving weekend. We had originally reserved the Americ Inn swimming pool but they called a few days before to tell us the pool was down for maintenance... so rude and annoying. But thankfully my parents have the coolest friends and we were able to use the Hoopes pool. It was so much fun! Their pool is amazing. And we had a blast!!
Thankyou to all our family who spent the afternoon with us. And thank you so much for all the gifts! So generous! Avalee is one loved little girl.

Thanksgiving week

The weekend before Thanksgiving we put up our Christmas decorations. I couldn't wait any longer! I love putting up Christmas.
And babies R us had santa diapers on sale so obviously I had to get them. Cute little diaper bum.

We spent Thanksgiving dinner with the Websters. Of course it was amazing! My mom is, hands down the best cook. And after dinner, we all passed out from eating too much.

That evening we went out to the Thomasons to celebrate Warrens birthday and eat more food and pie!

This was really random.... but friday night a few of my friends got together for ice cream. We don't see each other enough! It is seriously always so fun when we get together. Talking, eating, and doing cheer stunts in the old highschool parking lot...I didn't get home until about 3am. we are dumb. So for your enjoyment, here is a little Madison highschool fashback.

Sunday night was Alys birthday party. We love going to their house because they have 2 cats and a bird. Avy loved the them!

 Well now that Thanksgiving is over, bring on Christmas and the SNOW!! We are ready :)

another photo shoot and 12 month stats

Avy 12 month stats:
-17 pounds 14 ounces (5%)
-28 inches (13%)
( this Dr. app she had to get 5 HORRIBLE shots and a blood draw!! She almost passed out from crying so hard. It was the saddest thing I have ever seen. And I could barley drive home because I was bawling.  I felt so bad and I hope I never have to do it to her again.)

-She is walking everywhere like a little monster (since 11.5 months). It is so cute! And she is pretty quick
- She is such a good little sleeper. She loves her crib and sleeps through the night like a champ....until 7am- she wants to come in our bed and we let her.
- She LOVES books. She plays with her books more than her toys.
- She has found her voice and uses it often- its actually getting to be a problem... If she wants something, she will YELL LOUD at you and then point to what she wants. She is a sassy little thing and knows what she wants!  I guess its good she is communicating so well. Funny girl
- Great eater- Loves everything we give her
-She has gotten more attached and obsessed with her blanket. She drags it around everywhere and is always burying her head into it.
- She has such a fun and sweet personality. She is always happy. Just such a funny, cute little monkey. We can not get enough of her. Love her so much!!

1st birthday

Wow she is ONE!! I can't believe it has already been 1 year since we first met our beautiful little Avalee. She has made every day a joy since she has come. I honestly can say I have loved every diaper change, every bath, every late night, every mess, and every move this baby has made. She has made my life worth living and I am just so grateful she is mine. I love her so much and I am so excited for another exciting and crazy year with this precious babe!
We are having a birthday party later this month with all the family, but on her actual birthday we had our own little family party. First she played with her new ( mostly dollar store) toys. Chris had to work so Avy and I went to the "little gym". It was a Blast!! Its basically a gymnastics class for babies- so cute- and Ava was seriously in heaven. She loved it so much! The teacher obviously said she was very talented and advanced for her age :) Later that evening we went to another children indoor playground and she loved that too. She kind of forgot about Chris and I and just went off walking around with all the older kids and was playing. She is not a shy one that's for sure! She loved the slide and would laugh out loud every time she went down. Then we went out to dinner and came home to let her eat cake! If you cant tell from the pictures, she LOVED it! I am still cleaning up cake mess...

on a side note- I cant believe I have blogged for 1 year! yea for me! Now that I do it all on my phone, its so easy and quick for me to journal. Im so glad I have done it and I hope I can keep it up!
