Dec 13th....

This day gets its own post. It was busy and fun but I'm so glad it's over.

First, my dance classes had their little Christmas performance. They were so cute!

After the dance performance I went straight to the church to set up for our ward Christmas party. I was in charge of decorating so I asked a few friends from the ward to help. Well, turns out that one of the girls is a wedding decorator ( I had no idea!) and she had big ideas for decorating..... Awesome!  Her neighbor happened to be cutting down one of his birch trees so she asked to have it and that tree basically decorated the entire church. It turned out really pretty. And I'm so glad it's over!! mom, these pictures are for you :)

Christmas spirit! Dec. 7-12

I wanted to do some fun Christmas stuff this week because next week I start work!!! Ahhh!!
We love going on walks and looking at the Christmas blowups. I'm glad my neighbors have them so I don't have to buy them. And it has been weirdly nice weather. the 60s in December?

This was the last week teaching my little dance classes. I wanted to continue teaching but I knew with work and Chris's schedule I would not have time. I'm pretty sad but I will be helping with some dances and the recital.
And It happened to be picture day. They all looked so cute!

We went to a live nativity and it was really sweet.  The camel was huge!

The next night we went to the botanical gardens. It was raining but still really fun and the lights were so pretty.

December 1-7

This week was pretty relaxed. We have watch roudolph and frosty about 50 times. It is easily everyone's ( including Chris) favorite Christmas show.
Just watching the classic...

We got to watch madi one night and they had a blast. About 2 minutes after she got to our house, they got right into wizard of OZ dress ups.
We went on a walk to see my crazy neighbors blow up things.

Around the first of October I started thinking about going back to work. I applied for a job and had a interview. I hadn't heard from anyone so I thought I didn't get it. Well, they called me this week telling me I got the job and they wanted me to start on the 15th. That gave me one week to get CPR certified, a physical, totally finish Christmas shopping and find child care everyday, 8-5, for one week of training  !!!!!!!!
So basically I have been an emotional wreck this week. Interviewing nannies, daycare, and babysitters. They all make me sick. I rarely leave my kids and especially not in a day care. Thankfully, Chris can watch them most the time and diana and megan are helping the rest of the time.
I'm so nervous to go back to work. And Im nervous to leave my kids. But I'm just a flex tech, so after this week of training I will probably only work twice a week. I know it will be great once I get started. I just hope I can mentally, emotionally, and physically survive my first week.
I have been preparing with extra cuddle time....

Thanksgiving

We spent thanksgiving with the Websters this year. It was a perfect day full of family, food, Christmas movies and tons of dishes. I am overly blessed with an amazing family. I have so much to be thankful for!!

The butter. My mom sculpted that with a butter knife 😉

We went to a movie that night at 8:15... PM!! (Aka- bed time) Everyone tried to convince me that my kids would be good... about 1/4 way through the movie, Avy started crying and saying she hated the movie and Jett was screaming. So we left 😝. I knew it would happen, so it was ok. Still had fun while we were there

My mom started a new ( brilliant) tradition. She gave the grandkids their Christmas PJs on thanksgiving . So now they can wear Christmas pjs all December instead of only Christmas Eve! It was a fun way to start the Christmas season.

Jett has a seriously weird/adorable love for my dad. Jett runs to him when he walks In A room and follows him everywhere. It's crazy. But so sweet and awesome. My dad is irresistible! Such a cool guy!
The kids had a big sleepover in their new Jammies. So my mom whipped up a Christmas breakfast. She seriously is always outdoing herself. Amazing!

This is random, but one of my dads many talents is blow drying hair. Avy loves it when papa rob is home to blow her hair!

november 10th-24th

It snowed! A lot! And it stayed all week. And my kids didn't have snow clothes :(
The roads were horrible and it was freezing so we stayed home a lot and tried to keep busy

Bad mom alert- Jett is in Avys church coat and Avy has her size 12 month snow suit on. I knew I needed to get some new snow clothes but i was trying to hold off until December. Oops. They still had fun for a bit. They got cold pretty fast.

Ok I know- Jett is now in Avys old snow clothes. But we didn't have any and they wanted to go outside so bad!
update- we now have good snow clothes :)

The weekend before thanks giving we set up Christmas. I just couldn't wait
This is Avys favorite (little scary) Santa. He is as big as she is. Her and Jett love him.
